B1/B2 visa, what happens if I overstay my time?

If you have been admitted into the United States with a B1/B2 visa and have decided to overstay, you could be subjecting yourself to trouble.  Overstaying on your visa is a big problem because it may subject you to a 3 year or 10 year bar from re-entering the United States.  Overstaying may also cause problems if you subsequently file for adjustment of status.
